Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the practice of inserting very fine needles at specific points in the body in order to generate desired effects. These points are stimulated to balance the flow of energy in the body, promoting health and well-being. Practitioners can also use heat, pressure, friction, suction or pulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate these points. Originated and used for over 5,000 years in China, it has, in the past 40 years, become a well-known treatment in countries worldwide.
